Contact DebtSolution.net

DebtSolution.net is an independent information website, so we can’t give advice about your own debts. If you need help with your situation, a free, regulated debt adviser can look at your finances and deal with creditors for you — find the right free service. For questions about this website, or to report an error, email us.

How to contact us

We’re a small editorial team and we only take enquiries by email. We read every message, but please allow a few working days for a reply.

Report an error

Spotted something wrong or out of date? Please include the page address, what you think is wrong and, if you can, a link to an official source.

corrections@debtsolution.net

We check every correction against official sources. If we change a guide because of a significant error, we update its “last updated” date and note what changed. Our editorial policy explains how this works.

Please don’t send personal financial details. We can’t advise on individual cases, so there’s no need to tell us about your debts, income or account numbers. If you email us, we use your message only to reply — see our privacy policy.

Complaints about a debt company or creditor

We can’t investigate complaints about other organisations. If you’re unhappy with a lender, debt collector or debt management company, complain to the firm first. If it doesn’t resolve your complaint within 8 weeks, or you disagree with its final response, you can take it to the free Financial Ombudsman Service. Complaints about an insolvency practitioner (for example, about an IVA) go through the Insolvency Service complaints gateway.
